This MTB trail is 1,072km long

Did you know WA has one of National Geographic’s top cycle tracks in the whole world?

The Munda Biddi off-road trail is nothing short of incredible.

I was pretty shocked to find out it was over 1,000km long, going through some of the most beautiful landscape our country has to offer.

There’s also 12 campsites across the trail, and shuttle services to nearby towns if you want to stay in more cozy accommodation. It’s an ultimate bike packing trip just waiting to happen.

Each section is classified by difficulty, with family friendly sections and tougher challenges. And there are plenty of open events going on all the time to make it a social occasion.

But if none of that has convinced you, I’m pretty confident this video will get you excited:

Just be careful if you make the trip for the tougher sections. While the trail is well maintained, it’s impossible to keep every section perfect for over 1,000km! Keep an eye out for fallen branches and slippery corners – and don’t forget about snakes in the summer.

I really recommend you visit the Munda Biddi trail website and learn more. It has all the information you’ll need to plan a day trip, or full bikepacking experience.
